Product Manager, New Business - Location Flexible
Role Description
In this role, you will define the future of Dropbox. In this role, you will help define what success means for new bets going from zero to one.
You will be focused on crafting these critical experiences for our end users and buyers. You will be expected to have a balanced portfolio of product investments that range from helming existing user bases and keeping them happy to making calculated swings at large initiatives. You’ll be working with an amazing team of hardworking, passionate product managers, engineers, designers and marketers from across teams and functions.
Responsibilities
- Be a key player in the ownership of the Dropbox product team
- Own key pieces of our roadmap that satisfies the buyer and user journeys across verticals and companies of varying employee size.
- You are responsible for painting a picture that enables our customers and prospects to go on a multi year journey with Dropbox while keeping their users happy and the buyers bought in
- Be the voice of the customer and help provide context, empathy and rationale behind customer needs. Less “customer wants a feature”, more “they want to solve a problem that helps with ..”
- Work with Engineering, other product managers, design, analytics counterparts to facilitate well rounded decision making with a bias for action and calculated risks
- Work with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to facilitate rapid time to value for our customers and prospects
- Help balance your product’s long-term roadmap with its backlog of issues and bugs. Be an expert at prioritization.
- Deliver crisp product requirements to engineering. Remove obstacles from the path to shipping.
- Make data-informed decisions. Know how you’re measuring success before starting any project. Obsess over your KPIs. Know when to commit more or less resources.
- Effectively communicate across all departments in the company.

Requirements
- You have more than 4 years of experience as a Product Manager or relevant field, ideally at a B2B SaaS company.
- You have experience working on a web native product in a dynamically fast-growth environment.
- You have a successful track record for owning a mid-stage product that’s still growing quickly.
- You not only welcome feedback from customers and teammates but you thrive on it.
- You develop empathy for customers resulting in an uncanny ability to build things that they want and need.
- You are a skilled communicator who can motivate, lead and champion a product without authority.
- You take extreme ownership of your product. The buck stops with you.
- You possess an analytical mindset that makes data-informed decisions. Bonus points for the ability to effectively use – A/B testing tools, analytics tools, and other front-end tools.
