We are looking for a talented, passionate, and resourceful Product Manager to define requirements, business logic, and use cases for internal and customer-facing Dropoff applications and products. You will be a part of the product and technology group - a small but powerful and highly productive team. You must communicate clearly and effectively with Dropoff team members of all levels in the executive, operations, sales, marketing, finance and engineering teams. Projects must be defined and roadblocks removed to keep the engineering team operating efficiently to meet the technological demands of our rapidly growing logistics business.

Position based in Austin, TX with limited projects in the office

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of product vision, goals, and roadmap. Prioritize initiatives by balancing business needs against resources and time in order to maximize the impact of development efforts.

  • Work collaboratively with business owners, customers, and vendors to gather and define project requirements and clearly communicate those requirements to the development team.

  • Create wireframes to define layout and UI/UX for web and mobile applications.

  • Identify and articulate opportunities and problems. Work with the development team to create actionable plans to capitalize on those opportunities and solve those problems.

  • Create and maintain product documentation, both technical and customer-focused. Provide training on newly developed features.

  • Continually evaluate quantitative and qualitative performance metrics that inform product success and identify areas for improvement.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of product management experience working on web-based products and services

  • Knowledge of current and emerging web and mobile technologies

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing priorities

  • Experience gathering and translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Excellent communicator interpersonally, within a team, and organizationally

  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail, while being results-oriented

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Logistics experience in the on-demand service industry

  • Experience working with remote and third-party development teams

  • Knowledge of the iOS and Android hardware and application ecosystems

  • Proficiency with design software such as Adobe XD and InVision

  • Experience working as part of an Agile software development team
