About the Role

We are seeking a product manager to play an essential part in helping build and grow our platform and business. FloorFound is in a unique position to solve a large and growing challenge for retailers - finding new, and more sustainable, sources of inventory to support growing demand and consumer expectations. The role will report directly to the Chief Product Officer and work very closely with the entire leadership, helping drive the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate has experience growing an early stage B2B SaaS solution and believes a deep focus on the needs of the market and customers is the key to succeeding long term.

Responsibilities

As a Product Manager at FloorFound, you will:

• Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization activities, helping vet options and tradeoffs based on business value and data-backed assessments.
• When needed, collaborate on prototyped ideas and help plan and manage research and customer discovery activities to validate priorities and solutions.
• Be an expert on our market and clients’ needs, participating regularly in prospect and client calls. Know why the product is selling and performing well, or not.
• Develop requirements and product specifications and collaborate on design and user experience.
• Support the engineering team through the build process, helping address challenges and get answers to questions to help successfully hit ship dates.
• Communicate priorities and progress to the leadership team and broader business.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to roll out features and capabilities, ensuring their value is understood and well communicated.
• Measure progress and improvements for the product against release and overall business goals.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, diversity, openness and a commitment to getting stuff to done and celebrating the progress together.

Qualifications

• 3+ years product management experience utilizing an agile approach.
• Ability to ask the right questions, listen closely to answers and pattern match needs that lead to smart business and prioritization decisions.
• Comfort in not having all the answers, but a hunger to learn and share with others.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, comfort with moving forward in the presence of ambiguity, and the drive to keep plans and deliverables on track.
• Grasp of business principles, strategies and measurements to be able to keep product priorities aligned with business needs and to measure progress.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to align team members around goals, decisions and action plans.
• Excitement to test and try coupled with an ability to make calls and be open when the results don’t match expectations. Comfort with failing and learning.
• A grasp of the standard technical architecture and tools for modern SaaS solutions.
• Prefer experience with ecommerce and/or delivery and shipping logistics products and markets.
