About the departmentThe team works across Cloudflare’s Sales, Product Strategy, Product Management and Marketing organizations taking Cloudflare’s new products to market. Cloudflare is an established leader in the security space with thousands of enterprise customers. With Cloudflare Access, we’re taking what we’ve learned from securing traffic to start protecting our customers employees. Since the launch of Cloudflare Access in 2018 we have seen steady adoption among our enterprise and self-serve customer bases. In this role you will focus on accelerating Access’ revenue growth. You’ll partner with BDRs and Account Executives to source meetings, impart the value of Cloudflare Access and close Access revenue. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to close business and drive cross-department collaboration. You will become Cloudflare’s Access Product Expert on the Sales team.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product team to understand Cloudflare Access’s value proposition, target customer profile and pricing.
- Partner as a Product Specialist with BDRs, Account Executives, and various Marketing teams to source Access leads and meetings.
- Work in an overlay capacity with Account Executives managing sales cycles and contract negotiations.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline for Cloudflare Access.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- 3+ years of direct B2B selling, business development or sales related experience (experience in identity management a plus).
- Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
- Ability to grasp new technologies from a technical and commercial perspective and communicate clearly about them.
- Anticipates needs, innovates, multi-tasks and excels in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Salesforce.
