Senior Product Owner
Working within the Premier Services Team, the Product Owner will be responsible for organizing and delivering a product delivery strategy. Your work will involve multiple internal and external stakeholders and will focus on uncovering needs, accurately scoping effort, developing product delivery goals and actively managing the product roadmap. You will work with internal stakeholders and external customers to uncover key needs, accurately scope effort, develop realistic product delivery goals, and actively manage everything from roadmap to triage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with program leadership to develop and effectively prioritize the product backlog
- Partner with client, development, UI/UX and cross-functional team leaders to identify, build and measure features and functionality that meet business goals
- Define features of the product and write User Stories
- Provide scope for a release and defines release type (date driven vs business value)
- Work with the team to define each sprint plan, reviews completed work, and accepts/rejects results and is highly available to the team
- Apply Agile methods and processes to promote a disciplined software development process that encourages frequent inspection and adaptation of ongoing work product
- Articulate product vision and user stories in a manner clearly understandable to development teams and clients
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
B.S. or B.A in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Engineering, Communications or related field
Minimum 5-8 years in product management, financial services or e-commerce is preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Strong teamwork, organization, and problem resolution skills
Excel and presentation skills
Self-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance is a must
