Position Overview:
We have an exciting career opportunity to participate in driving our growth! Reporting to our Allocation Manager, the Associate Merchandise Allocator is responsible for ensuring proper stock levels across our multi-channel organization, in order to provide a WOW customer experience. Strong relationship building, communication and attention to detail are essential in the success of this position.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all Kendra Scott retail stores and e-commerce are at target weeks of supply and in stock on current and core product
• Own system replenishment module including curve management, inventory mins/maxs and weeks of safety stock
• Manage weekly replenishment needs to all stores and e-commerce as well as new collection distributions- entry of orders in system as well as creation of picklists for the distribution center
• Strategically allocate product based on trend and planning by store and by channel; identify opportunities to positively impact turns through allocation process
• Execute quarterly store inventory rebalances including system entry and store communication
• Provide weekly store-level reporting, on key metrics for all current and core product; analyze data to identify risks and opportunities and communicate to teams
• Responsible for retail store level turn for respective categories; analyze stock to sales ratios and recommend changes
• Identify assortment localization opportunities, including color, classification and price point
• Demonstrate a detailed level of collaboration with distribution center to ensure execution of store orders and consistent accurate inventory back stock levels
• Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams and remain accessible for all questions and suggestions on inventory, replenishment strategies, and current pricing
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years’ experience in inventory management for a high-growth company
• A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, retail math and inventory management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to dissect information and communicate impacts based on data
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to pivot in face-paced environment
• A strong ability to build relationship with co-workers and keep others informed
• Demonstrated experience working as a contributing partner on a larger team
• A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas
