Delivery Manager
Q2 is seeking a Delivery Manager to manage a team of Implementation Engineers focused on the successful configuration and deployment of Electronic Banking software for banks and credit unions. This individual will be focused on quality, efficiency, and consistent configuration of the software with an eye toward process improvement, team leadership and individual mentoring. This role is based out of our Implementations Solutions Center in Austin.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead and manage a group of Implementation Engineers to deliver quality software deployments
· Hire and build high performance teams that meet and exceed baseline expectations
· Develop and hold team accountable for quality assurance check points to ensure quality and timely delivery
· Monitor and impact key metrics and efficiencies
· Develop a team that creates and adheres to Q2’s best practices
· Evaluate and introduce constant improvements to the configuration and implementation processes using automation
· Work closely with the Delivery Managers and Project Managers to provide technical support and resources for projects
· Work closely with Product, Development and the IT/Data Center Operations teams to enhance cooperation by building relationships
· Engage with other implementation stakeholders across Q2 to ensure team goals are met
· Analyze project metrics and align initiatives with department direction (analyze project metrics and align initiatives with business direction)
· Responsible for ensuring all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
· Drive adoption and standardization of technical process change
· Knowledge sharing, including publishing or improving Confluence content
· Foster an environment of trust and continual learning at all levels
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
· Typically requires 5+ years of previous work experience in a similar management role (ideal candidate will have experience managing online banking deployment software)
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
· Strong team leadership qualities with proven experience building, growing, motivating and mentoring high performance teams
· Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to interface effectively with peer managers as well as senior management
· The ability to remain calm, diplomatic and cooperative under stressful conditions
· Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies
· Articulate, thorough, and process-minded
· Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred
· Ability to identify, manage and mitigate technical risk
· Ability to inspire team towards relationship building and client focus
· Ability to operate in a dynamic and changing environment
· Possesses and utilizes a coaching mentality, and is able to execute through others
