Who is Bold Commerce?

Named one of North America’s fastest-growing companies by Deloitte, Bold Commerce provides innovative ecommerce technology for businesses of all sizes. We believe Bold brands should have the ability to create and customize powerful transaction experiences — across all channels. Staples Canada, Vera Bradley and Harry Rosen are among the 90,000+ brands in over 170 countries that trust Bold’s suite of ecommerce tools to power their online stores every day.

We're made up of more than 400 professionals (and growing) who live and breathe ecommerce, and truly care about what we do. We call ourselves Builders. Here at Bold, we live by the BUILDERS Code, our shared set of practices, beliefs, and values that help to shape this dynamic company.

Bold is looking for a Partner Growth Manager to bring our SMB and Mid-Market partner network to the next level. The successful candidate will cultivate new and existing partnerships to drive creative and scalable ways of leveraging Bold and our suite of products to our partners. The core of this position is about deepening relationships and discovering new opportunities to drive revenue growth. To be successful in this role, you always bring new ideas to the table and push yourself outside of your comfort zone.

What you'll do

  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with our SMB/Mid-Market agencies and system integrator partners by maintaining high levels of engagement and execution
  • Negotiate with partners and their clients utilizing sales and partner best practices
  • Manage the complete partnership cycle including prospect, contract, integration, and on-going management
  • Be a trusted advisor to our partners and customers by utilizing high levels of integrity and transparency
  • Introduce partners to new product enhancements, service developments, pricing initiatives, and other benefits of the Bold proposition
  • Research potential partners, identifying key players, generating interest through networks, cold calls, and emails
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for partnership programs, while also training our partners on the Bold suite of products
  • Manage 3rd-party vendor relationships, as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding assigned individual quotas
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • In-depth knowledge of business practices, industry practices, trends, and sales cycles
  • Ability to manage a consistent and promising pipeline of leads and prospects for new sales activities
  • Ability to understand the success of a partnership is a blend of short and long term goals that will lead to a long term relationship
  • Ability to manage, own, and grow Bold’s SMB and Mid-Market agencies as if it’s your own business
  • Experience in understanding, communicating, and analyzing ROI in the negotiation process
  • Experience working with the sales teams on complex, partner-driven sales opportunities
  • Ability to travel into territory a minimum of 10-25% of the month
  • Familiarity of Bold’s Apps
  • Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce or another ecommerce platform that depends on integration partners
  • Experience with a CRM (Salesforce/Hubspot)
