Our Scrum Masters play an important role in supporting this alignment and leveraging it to ensure our teams stay effective and happy in their work.
As a Senior Scrum Master, you will work alongside multiple Scrum Teams, guiding and mentoring them in both Agile and Scrum. Success in this role means that the teams you coach trust you and use your guidance to deliver business value, identify and reduce risk early, and iteratively improve themselves and their processes.
Your day-to-day:
- Foster the team’s ownership of the Scrum process and their work
- Drive tangible business impact—not just velocity—using a servant-leadership style
- Guide the team through retrospectives to improve their effectiveness
- Coach the team to write, break down, and point stories effectively
- Keep stories flowing daily toward Done by helping the team identify and remove frustrations and blockers
- Coach the team to higher levels of process maturity at a pace that is sustainable and achievable for the team and organization
- Create a culture of safety, high trust, and openness where people learn and strive to improve
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies
- Document processes to help teams self-manage and avoid resolving the same problems
What we are looking for:
- Senior-level engineering background (at least 5 years working with SaaS or enterprise applications)
- Solid experience as a Scrum Master (at least 5 years)
- Strong experience with resolving conflict and building trust within and between teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience collaborating with product organizations in an Agile environment
- Experience working as a member of multiple teams
- Familiarity with approaches used to scale Agile across multiple teams and products
