The Strategic Marketing Programs Team is searching for a Senior Strategic Manager (Conferences & Roadshows)--with experience in B2B SaaS/software marketing--to help us develop and execute our global roadshow plan to bring together our customers and prospects in a hybrid event world.
As a member of the Strategic Programs Team, you will own the global roadshow event plan end-to-end, from strategy to execution to measurement, implementing feedback from stakeholders throughout the company. You will partner closely with the rest of the Strategic Programs Team, Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations to deliver a global roadshow plan that will change as the hybrid world we live in changes.
Successful candidates are organized and detail oriented, great communicators, and are able to strategically think while also executing tactically and quickly. In addition, this role requires a deep passion for events and building programs that fit the needs of many parts of the organization.
About the role:
- Work with the go to market team to plan the Connect event strategy for 2022.
- Promote and execute the Connect event plan globally in 2022.
- Measure campaign impact through Salesforce, evaluating campaign and program level ROI, and present recommendations for improvement / impact.
- Manage virtual and in-person Connect events, and be flexible/creative in bridging the two
- Travel required in future when business travel has returned to the mainstream. Provide onsite event staff/support when needed.
About you:
- BS/BA degree and 10-12 years of experience running corporate events or conferences. Previous experience in B2B Marketing (enterprise SaaS or software) targeting technical buyers and executives. Past experience in Field Marketing and partnering with sales teams.
- Experience managing teams 5+ years
- Experience managing vendors
- You have a passion for delivering high caliber conferences and experience with growing them from the ground up
- Exceptional project management/organizational skills with ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with and influence internal stakeholders, including executives, product marketing leaders, and the sales team. Able to advocate persuasively for program strategy and results.
- Comfortable using Salesforce.com / Tableau reporting
- Self motivated and able to work autonomously. Able to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to rapidly changing environments. You can marry high-level creativity and out-of-the-box-thinking with a very detail oriented, hands-on project management style.
