Remote Common Criteria Evaluator
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Common Criteria Evaluator performs an evaluation of security products against the Common Criteria standards. This includes interpreting requirements of applicable standard and regulations, authoring security documentation, evaluating product designs, and vendor documentation. Using available guidelines develop and execute a test plan, document and analyze results, communicate with vendor in course of project to ensure satisfying results. As an evaluator you are expected to be able to perform those tasks independently with the limited support from Senior Evaluators.

- Security documentation authoring
- Security and Protocol testing following guidelines.
- Device specific operational testing
- Presentations and workshops with customers
- Maintain/improve technical knowledge
- Learn and use tools used in performing security evaluations
- The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree (Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree), preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Software, Security or a technically related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technically both verbally and in writing
- Able to quickly learn and adapt to various technical environments
- Knowledge of computing systems, designs and security principles
- Experience setting up networks and familiarity with subnets and routing.
- Knowledge of common security related protocols and their design (i.e. SSH, IPsec, TLS, etc.)
Preferred:
- Previous experience with Common Criteria
- Vulnerability Analysis and/or penetration testing experience/expertise
- Security certifications (CISSP, CCNA, etc.)
