As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and and landing new business relationships for our Workforce Division. You will be the first face and voice that our business prospects see; accordingly, you must have the ability and drive to connect with customers, swiftly understand their unique requirements and communicate how WorkXO by QuestionPro can ​solve their problems​ and exploit opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence and manage the B2B sales strategy and operations for the Workforce Division and its culture-fueled analytics products.

  • Optimize prospecting tools - including content distribution, calls-to-action, cold prospecting, targeted outreach, social media, demos, SDR resources, and CRM platform management; collaborate with product and marketing resources on the same.


  • Help the President and the organization set appropriate sales targets and budgets. Report on progress, forecasts, and all aspects of pipeline and funnel activity.

  • Build brand awareness through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account-specific initiatives

  • Engage inbound leads, demonstrate our value proposition, move them into an active deal funnel.

  • Serve as product-expert during early-stage interactions.

  • Manage deal flow, prioritization thereof, and all related nurturing activities.

  • Identify, build, and nurture large-scale enterprise relationships toward renewable subscription-based revenue.

  • Help close deals and grow existing relationships - with a quota-based commissions plan in play.

  • Identify untapped market potential and advise the division and its President on opportunities to expand brand prominence and reach.

  • Oversee Client Experience activities for the Workforce Division client base - and use it as a driver to an ongoing and expanded revenue base.

  • Represent WorkXO at appropriate industry and community events as lead-generation venues - including conferences, professional and trade events, etc.

Expected Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience

  • At least 8 years of professional selling experience in B2B technology sales; preferably in the Human Capital Management (HCM), Human Resources Information System (HRIS), or workforce analytics realm.

  • Experience with selling Analytics or Business Intelligence would be a strong point of differentiation

  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas

  • Successful experience at new account development or large account management

  • Proven prospecting and full-sales cycle management skills

  • Experience and training in a value-based enterprise sales methodology (Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling, etc)

  • Experience using and relying on a CRM for prospecting, pipeline, and sales management (Salesforce and/or Hatchbuck preferred)

  • High levels of social perceptiveness and customer service

  • Self-driven, motivated and results oriented

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; resilience and an ability to overcome prospects’ objections

  • Ability to thrive and adapt to change in a very fast-paced environment; aptitude in taking

  • initiative when needed and without prompting; self-starter who thrives with autonomy

  • Located in Austin, TX (headquarters)

  • Ability to travel overnight, as needed (~1-3x per month)
