Account Executive
Kong Screen Printing is a customer service driven screenprinting and design studio based in Austin, TX. We specialize in screen printed apparel, embroidery, and general promotional items for fashion brands, businesses, schools, bands, and non-profit organizations.
We are looking for someone to join our team in a unique role that combines aspects sales, account management, and project management into a position that is primarily focused on providing an outstanding experience for our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by nurturing existing customer base and growing new customers through outbound sales.
- Build long term customer partnerships by focusing on an educational sales method, as opposed to pressure driven sales.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by managing projects from the initial request through completion, and follow up with customers to gather feedback on their experience.
- Set customers up for long term success by helping them develop a plan for their long-term merchandise needs.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure projects are completed on time and match the customer’s expectations.
- Proactively contact customers to keep them informed of new trends and products.
- Manage 3rd party provider relationships, orders, and production schedules.
- Collaborate with Kong’s graphic designers to assist customers with merchandise concept development.
Experience
- Previous sales and account management experience is a prerequisite for consideration. Apparel or promotional item sales experience is preferred.
- A basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is necessary to be successful in this position.

Benefits
- Base compensation can range between $25,000 - $35,000 yearly plus commissions on sales. Total compensation can be between $35,000 - $60,000+ based upon sales performance.

Schedule
Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM with a 30 minute lunch break. Due to the nature of the role, additional work can be necessary based upon the workload.
