Account Manager - Recruiting Operations

We are responsible for implementing technical solutions to match the unique needs of our customers: these range from traditional sourcing needs to workforce management to on-demand services.
RigUp is hiring an Account Manager - Recruiting Operations in our Austin office. Finding jobs for the men and women who power the world is what motivates us. In order to find jobs for these men and women, we must understand the needs of the businesses that are looking to fill open positions. We need someone who can be an industry expert in determining future recruiting needs as well as someone with a firm understanding of the recruiting process. At the end of the day, you get excited about filling customer’s recruiting needs and you do whatever it takes to deliver results.
If you have previous experience in the energy industry, that would be a huge benefit - anything from the oilfield to utilities to renewable energy markets would be applicable.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensure fulfillment against industry demand for oilfield/renewable energy labor
- Partner with energy companies (Oil & Gas/Renewable Energy) to deliver on each resume request that crosses your desk
- Think strategically about your book of business and how to drive growth within existing accounts as well as penetrate new pockets.
- Ask the right questions and speak the industry's language to streamline data collection and deliver against unique companies preferences as well as working to continual improvement of RigUp’s relationships with client companies
- Enable companies to make the most educated decisions about the men and women that will be hired from RigUp’s diverse marketplace of skilled labor
- Monitor macro industry trends in order to forecast regional labor shortages and proactively fulfill against labor demand
- Partner with product, eng, data science and customer success teams to optimize the way RigUp’s product serves our customers needs
What you should have:
- 2+ years of Account Executive or skill-based customer service roles (e.g., recruiting, sales, support, success, onboarding, etc.)
- You have a deep understanding of Oil & Gas, Renewables Energy (wind/solar), or Skilled Trades/ Manufacturing industries
- You have the determination to build large books of business from scratch, and with a ‘do-whatever-it-takes’ attitude to get there
- You approach problems objectively, and use data to support your hypotheses
- You are results oriented, and understand that there is no one correct approach to hit your goals
- You can identify signals from noise, and develop processes to minimize noise in a marketplace
- You thrive in relationship-based roles, and you approach your internal, cross-functional activities with the same rigor as you serve your customers
- You are an entrepreneur at heart, understanding that you are building a business and willing to wear all hats to make it work
- You can handle multiple books of business simultaneously, and quickly take action on the parts of your job that you can automate
- You are driven by fulfilling your customer needs above all else
- You are a team player, and will prioritize business objectives over personal goals
- Skilled spreadsheet, presentation ability, and docs knowledge a must
