Business Development Manager
InCloudCounsel is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our rapidly growing company. InCloudCounsel modernizes legal processes, globally, for many of the world's leading companies. We offer scalable, end-to-end solutions for processing routine contracts and abstracting complex documents by pairing our worldwide network of experienced lawyers with AI-enabled software. We also offer the first purpose-built software tool designed to help funds manage their obligations.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for day-to-day execution and monitoring of daily activities by the Business Development Associate (BDA) team. At its core, the BDA Manager will require an innovative mindset and a passion for developing a first-class pipeline while leading a high-performing business development team. The BDA Manager will also focus on hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training to ensure the BDA team is successful.
The Business Development Manager will report directly to the Head of Sales Development at InCloudCounsel, and the package includes a competitive base salary, equity, and full benefits. The preferred location for this role is Austin, Texas.*

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day activities of the business development team with a primary focus on pipeline creation through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification
- Hire, train, and develop BDAs to effectively engage and qualify new business opportunities
- Work cross-functionally with marketing to improve demo conversion rates
- Work closely with Head of Sales Development to measure BDA effectiveness
- Collaborate with sales enablement to execute training plans to decrease ramp time
- Identify opportunities to improve and evolve the BDA organization in an effort to better support a growing sales organization
- Measure and report against KPIs at an individual and team level
- Conduct weekly personalized 1:1s, tactical meetings, prospecting-focused huddles, and team meetings
- Partner with sales leadership to ensure alignment between BDAs and sales directors
Requirements:
- 2-4+ years of managing 5-10 direct reports in a professional environment
- Experience leading inbound and outbound sales motions preferably at an early stage, high-growth B2B technology company
- Proven track record of high performance in a pipeline generating or closing role
- Ability to hire, train and coach a high-performance sales team
- Demonstrated passion for start-ups and new technology businesses
- Ability to think outside the box and are a strong communicator
- Ability to manage time-sensitive projects with little supervision
- Financial services and/or legal background a plus
- Account executive experience is a plus
- Expertise with Salesforce, Outreach.io, Sales Navigator and/or Zoominfo preferred
