Channel Account Manager
Position Summary:
Manage and grow existing relationships with BuildFax channel partners which include distributors, resellers, and affiliates. Utilize solution selling and account management techniques to manage and maximize the business relationships with these channel partners. Must understand the nuances and elements supporting indirect sales. Success in this role includes increasing revenue through contract expansion with our existing partners and pipeline forecasting and reporting. Manage and resolve any potential channel conflict. Proactively validate partner needs and provide ongoing communication and product training.
Role Responsibilities
· Develop and grow revenue with our channel partners.
· Manage and monitor distributor and reseller performance. Identify positive and negative performance trends and support leadership to close any performance gaps.
· Meet and exceed assigned opportunity and sales quota targets along with strategic objectives.
· Primary account manager for assigned partners which may include training, pipeline reporting, and end user sales assistance.
· Monitor market trends and provide input to drive individual partner performance and expand partner relationships.
· Advise on strategies and tactics to maximize value of BuildFax products and solutions by incorporating user- generated content into all online and offline operations including marketing, customer service, product development, and distribution relationships
· Help key stakeholders understand the value they are receiving from BuildFax
· Proactively assess partner needs on an ongoing basis with high attention to detail and oversee onboarding of any new partners.
· Effectively communicate contract and product details to varied and diverse stake holders.
· Cultivate rapport through consistent meetings with counterparts at partner organizations.
· Strong ability to develop strategies and action plans and share results
Qualifications
· Education: 4-year college degree
· 5+ years of sales, business development, contract management, strategic account management, or related experience.
· Proven track recording working with partners and exceptional ability to establish relationships at any level.
· Ability to work as a full-time employee
· Based in our Austin TX office
· Ability to travel: 20%-30%
