Position overview


We are looking for a driven sales leader to work in partnership with our leadership team to scale our sales organization. Responsible for evangelizing Way, you will refine and implement our playbook while driving the sales process with prospective customers. We are a customer-centric team that is passionate about developing trusted relationships across our customer base. You will work closely with customers to understand their unique needs while strategically positioning the company to expand revenue. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth company and play a leadership role in building out its sales organization. The location for this position is based in Austin, Texas.


What you will do


* Work with the founding team and leadership team to continue bringing the company’s vision from idea to reality.

* Report directly to the CEO

* Own the sales process and drive net new revenue opportunities from demo to close

* Present and provide product recommendations based on a customer’s business needsRefine and build a sales playbook to support the future growth of the sales organization

* Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across the business

* Lead sales forecasting and strategy discussions with business leadership

* Over the next 6-12 months, build and lead a sales team to bring the company through its next set of key milestones

* Play a key role in the hiring and onboarding of new sales team members

Nice-to-haves (not required):


* Previous experience as the first sales leadership hire or working in an early-stage tech startup

* Understanding of / interest in SaaS business models

* Experience working/selling in the Hospitality industry


THE REST:


Compensation includes a competitive base salary, uncapped commissions, generous equity, healthcare coverage, 401k, benefits, and other travel-related perks. Candidates are required to be located in or willing to soon relocate to Austin, Texas. As a small and quickly growing company, Way expects all team members to come to the office and is building a primarily in-person work culture, with eventual flexibility for employees who meet and beat expectations you should be excited about startups and not looking for an easy job!
