Industry Account Executive
Role Description
As an Industry Account Executive for our East Coast customers, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting the future of Dropbox Business for our customers. You’ll join a talented team striving for one thing: using technology to simplify people’s lives. To do this, we’re looking for smart, high-reaching people who are passionate about revolutionizing the way people work.
Responsibilities
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with Fortune 500 clients and executives to serve as a trusted advisor
- Mobilize a broad account team through a complex sales cycles
- Present the value of Dropbox Business and our services to C-level executives
- Evangelize the Dropbox vision through product demonstrations, field marketing events, and account-specific initiatives
- Construct, forecast, and manage your sales activity and pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals
- Drive revenue by identifying and closing a list of named accounts
- Develop and scale out a territory-specific Strategic Enterprise strategy
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in B2B software sales (preferably Enterprise Content Management, Document Management, Cloud-Based Solutions)
- Consistent track record of building pipeline and exceeding sales targets
- Hunter mindset. Strong prospecting, discovery, negotiation and closing skills are your speciality
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships across your team and the company
- Successfully sold software into Fortune 500 companies and bringing in top logos
- Successfully sold into IT
- Must be able to spend 25%+ time in the field calling on clients
- Avid Dropbox user and a vocal technology evangelist
