Role Description

As an Industry Account Executive for our East Coast customers, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting the future of Dropbox Business for our customers. You’ll join a talented team striving for one thing: using technology to simplify people’s lives. To do this, we’re looking for smart, high-reaching people who are passionate about revolutionizing the way people work.

Responsibilities

Build strong, long-lasting relationships with Fortune 500 clients and executives to serve as a trusted advisor
Mobilize a broad account team through a complex sales cycles
Present the value of Dropbox Business and our services to C-level executives
Evangelize the Dropbox vision through product demonstrations, field marketing events, and account-specific initiatives
Construct, forecast, and manage your sales activity and pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals
Drive revenue by identifying and closing a list of named accounts
Develop and scale out a territory-specific Strategic Enterprise strategy

Requirements

8+ years experience in B2B software sales (preferably Enterprise Content Management, Document Management, Cloud-Based Solutions)
Consistent track record of building pipeline and exceeding sales targets
Hunter mindset. Strong prospecting, discovery, negotiation and closing skills are your speciality
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships across your team and the company
Successfully sold software into Fortune 500 companies and bringing in top logos
Successfully sold into IT
Must be able to spend 25%+ time in the field calling on clients
Avid Dropbox user and a vocal technology evangelist
Dream to work in a fast-paced, challenging and exciting environment

In order to be successful in our Virtual First environment we needed to make changes that would allow employees to have more control over both where and how they work. Therefore, we embrace “non-linear workdays” with defined core collaboration hours that overlap across time zones. Beyond that, we encourage employees to design their own schedules to balance collaboration with needs for individual focus. We’ve also moved from “all day syncs” to an “async by default” culture, reserving meetings for discussion, debate, and decision-making, and handling all other work in our deep focus hours.
