About your role

Juniper Square serves as the system of record for over 800 real estate investors and over $1T worth of real property assets. Our market position gives rise to a number of new business opportunities, and as we become a multi-product company we are building an Account Management team to grow and deepen our relationships with our existing real estate investment management customers. As a manager and founding member of this team, you will build and lead a team of Account Managers who will manage all commercial pursuits, communicate our value, handle renewals, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities for their books of customers. You will partner with our Head of Account Management and Customer Success leadership to define the operational structure and rhythm of this team and build a strategy to meet our net revenue retention goals. What you'll do

  • Build and lead a team of 7-10 Account Managers each with their own book of accounts
  • Guide your team to consistently meet or exceed their revenue targets for renewals and expansion
  • Demonstrate exceptional management by leading regular strategy, coaching, feedback, career pathing, and culture-building conversations with team members
  • Develop playbooks, templates, and processes to drive consistency and operational efficiency 
  • Be a student of our account management machine, obsessing over the details and data, and continuously coming up with and implementing ideas for how to improve and grow faster
  • Onboard and train new employees, ensuring team members ramp quickly and build a foundation for long-term success
  • Work cross-functionally with our Customer Success organization to ensure a coherent, high-quality experience for our customers that delivers on value and adoption

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience effectively developing, managing and leading an account management team
  • 5+ years experience in SaaS Account Management 
  • A consistent track record of success, leading teams to exceed revenue goals
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to coach, develop and motivate a team
  • Experience in building an inclusive culture with individuals from varying backgrounds and skill sets to form a cohesive unit 
  • Functional excellence in the account management skillset in order to model and teach from experience (see Account Manager job description here)
  • The ability to analyze and coach to sales key metrics and performance measures 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM for reporting, forecasting, and planning
