Unity Technologies is seeking a Multiplay Account Manager to help drive success with our most strategic gaming customers and prospective customers in the Americas. This role will help drive Unity to the next level within the largest, most influential gaming companies globally.

You will work under our Sales Manager for the Multiplay team to manage relationships with AAA and indie game studios worldwide, as well as drive net new business. This team supports some of the most popular multiplayer games already in-market, as well as those that are in production. In this role, we are seeking a thought leader who possesses the technical ability to establish strategic direction, develop & flawlessly execute objectives and inspire others to deliver desired results.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the company achieves its growth targets within the online division
  • Responsible for complete sales cycle from initial opportunity identification through to close
  • Manage and prioritize multiple opportunities within a mix of large strategic opportunities and smaller clients to ensure full pipe coverage
  • Identify new opportunities within existing clients and new potential clients from multiple channels including trade shows and cold calling
  • Able to articulate the Multiplay value proposition to all levels within a target organization
  • Accurate updates of customer engagement activities and associated sales forecasts in the CRM Platform (Salesforce.com)
  • Work as part of an extended team with multiple departments to ensure that the delivered solution matches the client’s expectations
  • Prepare and deliver exceptional proposals, presentations and pitches on the full range of Multiplay online products and services

Requirements

  • B2B sales experience, ideally with hosting, cloud or server sales 
  • Ability to communications at multiple levels
  • Flexible and dynamic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team while adapting to change
  • Strong negotiation skills and able to close sales propositions
  • Motivated, independent & driven (Results orientated)
  • Excellent presentation & influencing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • A successful background in selling into the games industry
