Job Description – National Business Development Executive
HotSchedules is currently seeking a National Business Development Executive to join our team. This position will be focused on helping us take our next generation Enterprise Back Office product to market with National Accounts. The position will be responsible for helping to develop messaging for the market, evangelizing our product and strategy, supporting complex deal cycles, training our National Sales Reps and ensuring the overall success of the go-to-market plan.
Effective candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Develop relationships and work at all levels of an organization
- Manage strategic product launch and go to market strategy, from prospecting to close as part of a sales team
- Industry relationships are a MUST
- Experience selling technology products is a MUST
- Deep understanding of restaurant operations is a MUST
- Strong presentation skills
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, industry financial measurements and performance indicators
- Ability to position Return on Investment (ROI) and reinforce value through a sales cycle
- Teach complex concepts to representatives
- Learn and explain technology solutions at a high-level
- Help to create a positive, professional, and fun environment to work at every day
- Able to work in a matrixed environment
- Be a self starter and team player
Performance for a Sales Executive will be measured by:
- Overall launch success of the next generation back office products
- Net new opportunities added to the pipeline
- Build quality relationships with customers and coworkers
- Overall product sales
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience within the restaurant and hospitality space (sales, presales, CIO/CTO, product management or product marketing)
- Extensive experience working with or selling restaurant back office systems
- Strong understanding of operational concepts around food cost, workflows, labor control, cash management and operational standards
- Understand how to build, execute and manage strategic sales plans
- Ability to work x-LOB, product management, marketing, presales and sales
- Ability to deliver on business commitments and complex projects
- 4 year degree
