Presales Solutions Consultant
Overview
The Presales Solution Consultant is the primary interface between the Sales team and the Post-Sale Operations teams (professional services, training, support, consulting services). The Presales Solution Consultant will work with prospects and sales executives to scope out customer needs for implementation, support, and ongoing consulting and create proposals tailored to the needs of each prospect. You will also capture learnings from prospects to help inform future services, support, and consulting offerings that can be developed and launched.
This position accommodates remote employees and occasional travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical advisor during interactions with prospective clients throughout the presales process
- Seek and understand client challenges, current and future business processes, and organizational needs - and translate them into technical solutions
- Become an expert in our professional services, advanced support consulting, and training offerings and tailor packages to align with client needs and budget by identifying and understanding project scope, timelines, and solutions
- Develop key deliverables in the pre-sales and sales process including (but not limited to) architectural diagrams/workflows, hours estimates, project timelines, technical documentation, deployment strategy, etc.
- Lead and engage in client-facing conversations, including highly technical staff, business leadership, and C-level executives.
- Understand and sell the value of comprehensive implementation and support packages to budget-conscious prospective clients
- Work seamlessly with internal stakeholders from Sales, Professional Services, ASC, Training, & Support teams
- Manage multiple prospects at a time, and support all new and existing business opportunities.
- Assist in responses to RFIs and RFPs
