  • Design and facilitate the delivery of sales training programs for the company’s new and existing sales professionals.
  • Direct sales training needs assessment.
  • Manage engagement of subject matter experts across the business, utilized for delivery of training and/or support of training content development for training engagements. 
  • Build engaging and relevant training that delivers measurable results.
  • Facilitate and/or deliver training sessions related to professional selling skills, sales operations/process, our product offerings, and trends within the cybersecurity market. 
  • Employ a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training program and sales force.  Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Measure and report on effectiveness of all sales training.
  • Assess and document new-hire performance and deliver performance-based feedback.
  • Present sales training curriculum at forums such as, but not limited to new hire training classes, new product and service rollouts, meetings/conferences, and as requested.
  • Assist front line sales management in identifying strengths and development needs of their sellers.   
  • Coach new hires and existing sales professionals on effective sales techniques.
  • Work with sales leadership and HR to recruit/select tbest candidates for sales positions.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • Works with minimal supervision. 
  • Other duties as needed or required.

Education and Experience

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a software sales environment, either as a seller, marketer, or sales training/enablement role.
  • Proven track record of training adult learners in a sales role, using live and virtual modalities.  
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver sales training programs using skills in instructional design, program design & development, and training technologies.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and fundamental skills in the areas of training curriculum design and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in the organization, to leverage subject matter expert inputs for sales enablement goals.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • High energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style.
  • Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Able to interpret, synthesize, and simplify complex and technical information.
  • Self-starter, driven, sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively facilitate and adjust communication styles to the audience.
  • Highly computer literate with in-depth knowledge of MS Office and web-based systems.
  • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
  • Open to 10% travel, domestic and international.

 

PREFERRED:

  • Working knowledge of SalesForce.com a plus.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity a plus.

We are located in the North Austin area by The Domain, off of Braker between Mopac and 183. Our office patio overlooks Quarry Lake.
