The DISCO Strategic Account Manager (SAM) owns overall leadership for a Growth Pod / cross-functional account team for 5-20 Strategic Accounts. The Growth Pod includes account development representative (ADR), product marketing associate (PMA), and client success manager (CSM) resources. 

The SAM is DISCO’s primary leader and sponsor for the client, responsible for overall account growth of software and services. The SAM builds and drives execution on an up-to-date account plan. The SAM is the key relationship builder with each Strategic Account. 

The SAM aligns DISCO resources to drive effective account management processes, tracks and communicates progress, and grows DISCO’s revenues across the full breadth of DISCO products/solutions for the Strategic Account.

Who You Are

  • 5-10+ years selling and account relationship management experience with major accounts in a high-growth software business. Legal domain is a plus.
  • History and track record of achievement of revenue objectives.
  • Track record of business/account plan development and execution.
  • Cross-LOB team management experience - international team management is a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree in business or a relevant field. Masters degree is a plus.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain the multi-year strategic account plan for the Strategic Account to meet or exceed client objectives and DISCO sales goals. Revise the account strategy and plan to ensure they fit the continuously changing Strategic account needs and priorities.
  • Coordinate the Growth Pod and deploy Growth Pod and company resources in pursuit of account growth.
  • Manage the interface between the Strategic Account and DISCO personnel (including all sales, product specialists, consulting, support, channels and corporate functions) to ensure an effective alignment model and communications, and reporting cadence. 
  • Articulates both DISCO and Strategic Account value proposition to C-level management within both DISCO and the Strategic Account.
  • Create a quarterly business review cadence to track our progress on aligned focus areas/work streams and other interactions.
  • Integrate DISCO in front of the client providing a “one face, one DISCO” strategy for the client.
  • Sell and promote the sale of DISCO products including contract negotiation.
  • Generate and achieve accurate monthly forecasts.
  • Conduct weekly progress meetings with the Strategic account sales team. 

Location and Travel

  • Travel as required to clients within your territory as well as industry events and conferences.
