As a Value Analyst, you will use your heavy asset industry expertise, your laser focus on business value creation, and your executive communications skills to contribute to growing Cognite’s customer base.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and diagnose the Digital Transformation journey across accounts to assess alignment with Cognite’s solutions
  • Work with customers to accelerate their business value realization through your leadership with them on high-impact use cases. Key activities will include
  • Lead customer workshops, including developing the agenda and facilitating bi-directional participation across all stakeholders
  • Develop value propositions, value cases (ROI & TCO analysis), risk management mitigation, project plans, change management, & transformational strategies
  • Support proposal development and proposal presentations
  • Partner with sales to identify revenue opportunities, contribute to industry and account demand generation strategy & execution
  • In customer meetings, present and demonstrate Cognite’s solutions
  • Develop and write persuasive Cognite value thought leadership (white papers, blog posts, slides, etc.)
  • Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly product management, marketing, and engineering
  • Work with select partners on solution completeness
  • Approximately 40% travel

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of prior consulting experience at a Big 5 firm (Accenture, BearingPoint, Deloitte, PWC/IBM, Capgemini) or premier strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Booz Allen Hamilton, Monitor, AT Kearney, etc.)
  • 3+ years of heavy asset industry experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Oil & Gas
    • Power & Utilities
    • Manufacturing
  • Executive presentation & communication skills
  • Business skills: quantitative analysis, documentation, process reviews, business strategy reviews, executive questioning techniques, facilitation, etc.
  • Self-starter, able to work in a team environment, & superb time management & prioritization skills
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent); MBA degree preferred
