Vice President of Global Sale/ Business Development
Vice President of Global Sales/Business Development Overview: The Sales Organization at HotSchedules is responsible for revenue generation and net new business development to support rapid growth worldwide. Our sales teams put the customer first and focus on a consultative sales approach. An immediate opportunity exists for a Vice President of Global Sales/Business Development who will lead the rapid expansion of our direct sales teams worldwide and will develop, execute, and direct all net new selling into ‘greenfield’ accounts.
The position reports into the Chief Revenue Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead all revenue generation as a Senior Executive Team member helping to set strategic direction of HotSchedules; supporting 45%+ year over year bookings growth
● Drive the overall go-to-market strategy for core restaurant and adjacent industries
● Hire and develop a high-performing sales team as we continue to grow and expand globally
● Develop a robust account-based selling approach and sales process which supports the business
● Work closely with the Channels team to define key channel and partner programs and increase the velocity/scale of our sales team
● Participate in closing strategic opportunities and manage key ongoing customer relationships
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Background
● Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area required, MBA highly preferred;
● 15+ years of sales and marketing management experience;
● 8+ years’ executive sales leadership within the enterprise software industry ● Proven success with revenue scaling and team building within hyper-growth environments
● Experience leading multiple teams focused on new business development
● Experience leading and expanding global sales efforts
● Strong background in implementing modern inside sales best practices
● Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
● Experience with a consultative value-based selling approach
● Demonstrated leadership, team management, and employee development skills
● Excellent analytical, abstract reasoning, and organizational skills
