The Role

We are looking for someone serious and accomplished in sales and account development. You come with a history of sparking large scale growth in a short period of time; you can demonstrate an uncanny ability to find, qualify and onboard new logos and own the customer relationship. You understand and can articulate how and why the software development game has changed.

Expectations

You will source, close and manage business opportunities that support InMotion Software's service offerings. You will create and/or inherit a target account list with a local / regional focus and own the customer relationship and InMotion Software sales process. You will be responsible for running a minimum of $3m in gross revenue business. Work with Practice Leads (Product, Design, Engineering, Digital Marketing, Sales) to assist with presentations, proposal development and estimating to move opportunities through the sales pipeline and closure.

Day in the life

  • Maintain customer relationships through meetings, networking, consultative sessions, and bringing other InMotion Software team members into the process
  • Identify decision makers and key buying points
  • Spot trends and opportunities within an account
  • Understand the proposed strategy and is able to suggest tactical changes as per the changing business environment or customer requirements
  • Engage in customer conversations to understand customer needs and inform / educate about InMotion capabilities
  • Work with Sales Leadership to ensure forecast accuracy and maintenance
  • Develop, cultivate and maintain key customer relationships by having regular contact with all assigned accounts, gaining trust and having hard conversations
  • Act as one of the key interfaces with the customer when dealing with escalated issues
  • Communicate and disseminate customer requests to team and manage client expectations
  • Escalate any problems that arise
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with all assigned accounts
  • Share your excitement when your customers succeed and help them find success when they struggle

Qualifications

  • Farmer mentality with a strong focus on account maintenance, nurture and growth
  • Proven history as an over achiever with little to no resources
  • 3+ years of Solution Sales experience in Technology Consulting, Design Research, User Experience, Enterprise Technology, and/or Digital Marketing
  • Creative / Digital agency experience is preferred
  • Previous software consulting experience is preferred
  • Preference will be given to those that have gone from concept to delivery with a customer
