About The Team

Roku’s Enterprise Engineering team is responsible for developing the technology platforms on which we run our company while ensuring scalability to meet our rapid employee and business growth

About The Role

We are disrupting traditional methods of automating business workflows and applying an Engineering/API-driven design to scale efficiencies in Roku internal processes. Our goal is to simplify an inherently complex and rapidly growing landscape and empower our employees to make larger impact in their respective roles and areas. As an AV Manager for Roku’s Productivity Apps team, you will manage AV systems and rollout, conference room experience, AV management for all internal events and critical meetings. You will build intake and user feedback pipelines, with the goal of increasing our efficiency and productivity, and building scalable systems. This role is responsible for all aspects of AV infrastructure, development, and operations, including third-party AV applications, roadmap, and governance. If you are a self-starting techie who enjoys analyzing business needs, evaluating tools and technologies, building, and rolling out processes and systems, and providing support for these same tools, this is the perfect role for you.


What you’ll be doing

  • Lead a team of AV Engineers & Technicians to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment
  • Define and implement standards of operations and equipment
  • Lead conference room & site setups from start to finish
  • Coordinate vendors and outside technical support for events
  • Operates equipment for events
  • Assist with training and development of team and enforcing of AVMS standards, IT networking, troubleshooting, etc
  • Thorough knowledge of audio visual equipment, set-up and operations
  • Manage and troubleshoot audio visual systems within a corporate environment
  • Administer videoconferencing software and host company webinars when needed
  • Develops and reviews operating procedures and creates technical documentation


We’re excited if you have

  • Experience in progressive responsibilities for testing, deploying, and supporting AV technology at global organizations
  • Proven track record of rolling out and operating change management and user / customer facing support processes
  • Worked and managed projects with implementation partners and third-party vendors
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams across the business including Facilities, Events, Communications, IT, Engineering, etc.
  • Acquired a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related technical field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AV roles with people management experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Passion for AV technology!
