The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will generate new business for the Property Manager business segment across all US HomeAway, Inc. brands (Homeaway.com, VRBO.com,and VacationRentals.com) and manage existing customer base for the US market.This position will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager and is base +commission based on performance.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Oversee quarterly campaign-based account sets focused on driving up-sell revenue, renewal revenue 
  • Manage existing customers and respond to customer requests, issues &opportunities
  • Handle inbound inquiries from prospective and existing PM customers
  • Partner with small business PM team and customer service to efficiently handle account escalation and issues
  • Excellent and professional qualification and follow up on leads from web site,advertising and trade shows
  • Outbound calling (30 to 40 calls per day) to manage/up-sell existing customers, prospective customers and conduct call campaigns in support of sales events and other marketing activities
  • Identify and document customer’s needs, expectations and priorities in effort to build long term business relationships
  • Document every touch point with customer and prospect database viaSalesforce.com
  • Develop and execute customer account plans to ensure renewal of service
  • Grasp technology service solutions and maintain an understanding of our marketplace including competitors
  • Attend trade shows and other sales events to support sales goals.Approximately 10% travel.

Required skills:

  • 3+ years of inside sales experience (business to business sales preferred). 
  • Proven success in lead generation and lead qualification
  • Knowledge of CRM Systems (Salesforce.com a plus) 
  • Proven track record of successful telephone sales 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of Internet technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in classified ad sales or online advertising sales a strong plus
  • Sales training or solution selling training preferred
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing business environment
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
