The Opportunity
The Director, B&B Sales and Supply is responsible for leading acquisition,market managers, Rezovations, corporate gift card and paid advertising sales teams and contractors within US, covering various business-to-business segments.The Director is responsible for achieving revenue, supply & software unit counts and online booking adoption goals across all US.
Position Responsibilities:
• Directly lead and develop the in-house Market Manager and Rezovations Sales teams as well as any contractors that focus on corporate gift cards and paid placements. Will work closely to align sales, CS and operations efforts with the BBcom e-commerce strategy and to develop an efficient and high performing sales culture
• Lead the Sales team’s transformation from a classified subscription business model to an e-commerce business model focused on achieving acquisition sales, retention, online booking adoption, and up sell targets
• Lead a strong operational (processes) and technical (systems and tools)integration with Marketing, in particular for the innkeepers, to realize a CRM proposition where Sales execution is a component fully integrated into broader end to end Marketing and Sales campaigns
• Ongoing optimization of staffing levels and sales processes to drive increasing productivity / ROI while achieving sales and supply targets
• Engage with partner departments including Customer Service (innkeeper support), HR (talent acquisition, talent management, and compensation planning), and Sales Ops (sales training, reporting, compensation and on-boarding)
• Represent the company at key industry trade shows and events, including booth management and educational presentations to build BBCOM’S company profile with key properties and increase overall awareness of the BBCOM value proposition
• Lead the execution of overall market business plans to meet or exceed KPI metrics(targets, goals and/or strategic objectives) set by GM
• Effectively manage working relationships, team's productivity and morale despite internal or external pressures
• Provide support to the Expedia Market Management teams and conduct ongoing education of the bed and breakfast industry through in-market team meetings
• Other reasonable duties, as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

Senior Leadership:
• 10+ years' Sales experience (of which 5 should be Sales leadership experience)
• Masters degree preferable; degree in Hospitality, Tourism or Business Administration is a plus but not required
• Demonstrated success in leading sales organizations through material change/transformation
• Consistent track record of achieving and over-delivering on performance targets, while developing the team to prepare for change needed to be successful in the quarters and years ahead
• Expertise with SalesForce (tracking performance, reporting, analytic)
