The Director of Learning & Development will be the driving force behind our end-to-end development programs at WP Engine, integrating learning, career, performance, succession and leadership development into a cohesive practice. We are looking for an experienced leader and creative strategist to design and deliver programs that reinforce our culture, and cultivate opportunity, performance,and growth for individuals and teams at all levels in the organization.

The Day to Day: 
* Serve as valued collaborator to senior leaders, working to ensure complete understanding of the needs of these partners, and offering learning or consulting solutions that help them achieve their goals.
* Work closely with People Operations to develop and implement performance development and talent review programs that support clarity, enable great coaching and inspire positive results.
* Oversee development and delivery of core Learning programs, including onboarding, progression, functional, leadership, technical, compliance and ad-hoc training.
* Identify, select, and implement content and technology solutions for all aspects of learning.
* Monitor program effectiveness and impact through a range of engagement, business and performance analysis activities.

* A progressive view on learning and strategic people practices, incorporating principles from Product Management, Engineering and Experience Design to ensure we are prioritizing and building the best possible learning and development programs.
* Willingness to experiment and adapt as we blend L&D and OD consulting and practices

* Bachelor's degree in related field; Master's degree preferred
* 7-10 years experience in training design, delivery and/or organizational development
* Minimum of 5 years as the Manager of a team
