SailPoint is seeking aTechnical Product Owner - Dev Ops to join our Engineering Operations team and is passionate about delivering high business value and is experienced in all facets of the development of products from start to finish to ensure they meet internal and external customer needs and preferences. Main duties include working with stakeholders and development teams to define product requirements, ensure quality, track progress, manage various backlog items, and decide which features each product will have according to customers preferences.
This is a "people interactive" role, where the ideal candidate will be expected to interface with multiple cross-functional teams to drive product outcomes and help deliver objectives.
Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in Dev Ops, Cloud, HW, AWS, Azure is very important
  • Developing and managing product roadmap and backlog
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure software products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements and are integrated with other systems.
  • Developing and maintaining product documentation
  • Communicating product status updates to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Defining the vision for the team's product
  • Creating a product road map based on this vision.
  • Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements.
  • Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
  • Developing user stories


  • Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.
  • Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience working as a Product Owner, Business Analyst and/or Quality Assurance specialist
  • In-depth understanding of Dev Ops, engineering principles and concepts, as well as knowledge of various tools and software used in engineering operations, to include a thorough understanding of SDLC from conception to production delivery.
  • High initiative and passion helping teams continuously improve program/project delivery.
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and development teams
  • Excellent analytical skills/problem-solving abilities/making data-driven decisions
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of software development tools and project management software
  • This role has heavy Dev Ops requirements. Please only apply if you have Dev Ops experience


DesiredQualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry work experience, preferred not required
  • Good understanding/experience of Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google) and related technologies, monitoring, and enablement practices.
  • Experience with Dev Ops and Engineering based operations
  • Experience with FedRAMP, HITRUST, SOC2, and other compliance related certifications
  • Agile/Scrum training
  • Effective delivery of products using Agile/Kanban development methodology using various tools such as JIRA, Github, Kanban is preferred.
  • Experience with Portfolio for Jira or other similar portfolio management tools is a plus.
