Austin-based marketing and technology company Shoutz has acquired Front Flip. The mobile customer engagement company app is based in Kansas.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Front Flip is a very strategic acquisition for Shoutz.  This product reaches the core millennial customer that our lottery and gaming clients are looking for,” said Shoutz CEO Jim Mueller.
The Front Flip team will join Shoutz in their Leawood offices.
“Shoutz is such an exciting company, with a deep understanding of consumer engagement and mobile strategies,” said Jon Darbyshire, Front Flip’s Chairman.  “Combing Front Flip’s great technology platform with Shoutz’s successful marketing and business development engine, is a perfect match for continued deployment of the Front Flip product and expansion of the business,” Darbyshire said.
Shoutz provides mobile engagement solutions for businesses, most notably LotteryHUB, the official app for Powerball and MegaMillions.
Front Flip’s mobile app is used in more than 800 retail locations across the U.S. to allow customers to sign up for multiple loyalty programs, receive gifts, participate in on‐site, instant and earned reward programs, interact with social media, and share their experience and gifts with friends.
