Austin-based Spredfast has acquired another company.

The social marketing platform announced today they have acquired Shoutlet, a social data integration business based in Wisconsin. Shoutlet produces a social campaign builder, enriched social CRM data, and expanded integrations that power deeper consumer insights, which will now all be part of the Spredfast platform. Clients include Best Buy, Four Seasons and Lowe's.

“Spredfast’s proven leadership in the social software space makes it clear that they are absolutely the right company to leverage our technology and people. The combined company will provide customers with richer product options, lightning fast innovation, and access to the smartest minds in the industry,” said Aaron Everson, President and Co-Founder of Shoutlet, in a statement. “We’re looking forward to bringing these two strong teams together.”

Shoutlet’s Madison, Wisconsin headquarters and staff will become Spredfast's newest development center.

“We constantly strive to add value for our customers. We believe the keys to delivering on that promise are rapid innovation and an open platform. Shoutlet’s innovative technology, impressive customer base, talented team, and open platform philosophy made this an easy decision,” said CEO Rod Favaron in a statement. “This acquisition follows many major company milestones for Spredfast. In the last 18 months, we’ve been named a Leader in the Forrester SRP Wave, completed a successful merger with Mass Relevance, launched three new products, announced inaugural membership in partner programs with Pinterest, Tumblr, and Facebook, and seen unprecedented company growth. It’s an exciting time to be on this rocket ship.”
