After 10 years in Austin,

just announced the completion of its new headquarters.

The 137,615-square-foot building will accommodate the company’s 600 employees in the Quarry Oaks business park in North Austin, with plenty of room to grow.

The company sent along these facts and photos to serve as a virtual tour:

  • The construction of the building required 31,000 stones, 43,924,000 pounds of concrete, and 10,312 sheets of drywall to complete.
  • The building contains 150 miles of electrical wiring, which is roughly equal to the distance between Austin and Houston.
  • It took 257,862 man hours to complete building construction.
  • Though there were 34 rain delay days throughout the course of the 12-month build, there was no delay in move-in.

The company chose to line the central staircase in glass to reflect openness and encourage collaboration.

The new office also features a Whole Foods Market Café for company employees. This is one of only a handful of Whole Foods Market express locations throughout the city, and is helping to create a stronger sense of community amongst Bazaarvoice’s employees.
