Transportation: Just over the river from Downtown Austin, South Congress is an elongated neighborhood that is defined by Highway 35 on the east side, 290 on the south and 1st Street to the West. There are technically no train stops in the neighborhood but the bus runs directly down South Congress Ave and can take you as far north as Tech Ridge.
