If you've been waffling over whether or not to start the job hunt, then heat up your resume and read through these openings in various departments across engineering, sales, marketing, operations and product roles. It's time to join a new team that is excited to meet you.

What they do: The fastest growing SaaS security company in the world, Duo Security provides secure internet access for companies of all sizes — including Facebook, Yelp, NASA and Toyota — with a focus on customer satisfaction and employee innovation.

Why you want to work here: Because you'll matter regardless of employee rank. The Duo team turns to its employees to develop new ways to prevent security breaches and to keep customers happy. The office environment's key pillars include collaboration, a sense of pride, openness, learning and of course, fun.

A note from the boss: "At Duo, we look for candidates who are collaborative and curious," said founder and CEO Dug Song. "Security experience is not required. We're more focused on hiring smart people who are passionate about their work and like to build products people love."

What they do: Founded by five friends in 2009 in the U.K., MVF develops proprietary technology, data-driven analytics and in-house digital expertise to provide leading brands across 112 countries with high volumes of new customers.

Why you want to work here: To join the mission in helping businesses discover new ways to reach customers through love of data and creating innovative ways to do your job better. MVF is vastly expanding, so you will have the ability to pave your career through the opportunity to advance into specialists, team leads and manager roles.

A note from the boss:  "Ideal candidates for MVF are enthusiastic, commercially and mathematically smart, possess strong business acumen with a hunger to make an impact! Culture is essential to the success of our growing office therefore, we are highly selective. We hire candidates that have something extraordinary within them," said Kester Hodgson, SVP of sales.

What they do: One of the premier media companies in the world, Condé Nast opened their Austin office to support the company's investment in the future of the digital marketplace, supported by stellar engineering, data science, product and design.

Why you want to work there: You'd get to help build a new team with a startup feel, but do so with the backing of an established company that goes back over 100 years. You also get to be in one of the first big tech offices on the East Side, so if you wanted to have El Chilito for lunch every day (they're a few hundred feet from the door), then you could.

A note from the boss: "We are looking for great engineers who can help build out the technical leadership of our new Austin office. We work in the neighborhood of a billion page views a month, so solid fundamentals are a requirement," said Travis Swicegood, the company's director of engineering.

What they do: Founded in 2014, Austin-based TrendKite develops software that measures, monitors and tangibly reports the influence that public relations campaigns have on organizations.

Why you want to work here: Want to join a motley team of marathoners, data geeks, musicians, ex-Weinermobile drivers and ping pong savants dedicated to revolutionizing public relations technology while balancing a work hard/play hard lifestyle? This might be the place for you. Perks include power desks (sit or stand), comfy common areas, meals, snacks, and drinks, unlimited vacation, games, and the chance to earn the legendary Rage Hat.

A note from the boss: "TrendKite is excited by candidates with a mix of raw intelligence and business chops who are inspired by making an impact on the future of an early stage technology company," said Jen Cantu, VP of People.

What they do: Sprinklr created a platform called Experience Cloud that helps large brands create, manage and optimize valuable social experiences over 20 social channels and brand websites, putting the customer at the center.

Why you want to work here: To catch the highly contagious Sprinklr-developed "believeitis," an infectious condition of extreme belief that everything and anything is possible. The team believes in using technology for good and looks to its own members for inspiration, while constantly discovering new ways to adapt in the social software space.

A note from recruiting: According to their company website, "It takes a certain type of person to get on board with what we are creating at Sprinklr. Developing the world's most complete social enterprise technology is no small feat. The people that join our mission do so because they believe in the power of the connected consumer and brands' opportunities to delight them at every touchpoint."

What they do: Founded in Austin in 2012, Snaptrends develops patented location-based social media software that monitors social media across platforms to provide visual insights to organizations.

Why you want to work there: Equipped with Nerf Guns, Snaptrends' office overlooks the scenic hills of northwest Austin. Crew members enjoy unlimited PTO, company-paid gym memberships, 100 percent employer paid healthcare and flexible work hours. Plus, you'd play an active role in the new era of geosocial intelligence.
