LumApps, the social intranet platform for offices, generated its own chatter on Friday announcing it has raised $24 million in a Series B funding round.

Founded in Paris in 2012, LumApps set out to create a digital workplace for employees to connect and collaborate. The intranet syncs with Google G Suites, Microsoft 360 and Microsoft Sharepoint and provides a centralized place for employees to share projects, send company messages and socialize. Its intranet has become the choice collaboration tool for EA, Verizon Media and Peach Aviation.

They have since opened up an office in New York to go along with offices in Austin, Lyon, France, London and Tokyo.

LumApps plans to use the funding to scale its global sales and marketing, as well as accelerate its digital workplace suite. The round also adds fuel to the company’s rapid growth. Over the last year, LumApps has grown its international teams, more than doubled its customer base and brought on two new members to its board of directors.

"Over the past year, we experienced tremendous growth with new companies across the globe adopting LumApps as their central hub for all internal and external communications, Sébastien Ricard, founder and CEO of LumApps, said in a statement. "This new investment will help us extend our leadership position by taking our go-to-market plans to new heights and will help drive product innovation so our customers can help their employees be more productive than ever."

Idinvest led the funding round and brought LumApps total funding to $32 million.
