One Austin-based tech firm cracked the top 100 of Inc. Magazine’s annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies nationwide.
The magazine released its Inc. 5,000 list on Aug. 14. Inc.’s list only includes private companies that have started generating revenue by the end of March 2015. Those companies are then ranked based on revenue growth they generated between 2015 and 2018.
This year, 103 companies in Austin earned a spot on Inc.’s list. Below are the magazine’s top five selections.

SupportNinja helps startups outsource and add customer support, lead generation, content moderation services and more. Launched in 2015, Inc. reported that SupportNinja generated $4.5 million in revenue in 2018, up 3,684 percent from three years prior.
Simply NUC

Simply NUC is a marketplace that offers custom-built Intel NUC equipment, along with technical support. Launched in 2015, Inc. reported that Simply NUC generated $12 million in revenue in 2018, a 1,790 increase over three years ago.

AlertMedia offers internet-based emergency communication and monitoring software. Launched in 2013, Inc. reported that AlertMedia generated $4.9 million in revenue in 2018, up 1,549 percent from 2015.
