RVshare raised $100M. It’s an RV rental startup founded in 2013, with headquarters split between Austin and Akron, Ohio. KKR led the investment. The company is hiring software engineers, product developers, marketers and more in Austin. [Built In Austin]

Austin Gigafactory is opening next year. During a third-quarter earnings call, Elon Musk confirmed the opening of the company’s new Austin facility by next year. The aim is to start delivering its Model Y cars at the factory by the end of 2021. [Austonia]
