Grazzy was featured in Built In’s Future 5 series. Grazzy is a fintech company that developed a platform enabling service workers to earn more tips and get their money on the same day. The company was founded by Russell Lemmer and has raised $6.8 million in funding. Lemmer wants to develop new products for service workers and expand into more hotels and restaurants nationwide. Five Austin tech companies raised a collective $265M last month. In February, five local tech companies spanning several industries raised a combined $265 million. This total consists of the five largest funding rounds closed over the course of the month. Industrial Sun, a solar energy company, raised the most money after securing a $90 million investment. Other companies that raised large funding rounds included ProsperOps, Atmosphere, VUV Analytics and REALLY. [Built In Austin]

REALLY secured $18M. Adam Lyons, the founder of The Zebra insurance marketplace, recently founded and launched REALLY. The new company helps people shop for phone planes and will soon launch a mobile service built with blockchain technology. The $18 million seed round was led by Polychain. [Built In Austin]

Striveworks collaborated with Microsoft. Striveworks is a data platform that helps companies analyze their data troves. Last week, it announced plans to collaborate with Microsoft, enabling Microsoft Azure clients to leverage Striveworks’ technology. [PR Newswire]

Ooni launched new pizza ovens. Ooni develops home pizza ovens that can reach up to 950 degrees Fahrenheit. Last week, the company launched two new ovens, one of which can cook deep-dish, Detroit-style pizza. Ooni was founded in 2012 in Scotland and opened its U.S. headquarters in Austin last year.
