While Austin tech news might have had a quieter week, a handful of Texan innovators pulled through with company developments. Check out which local names are growing their footprint and enhancing their tech. This is the Built In Austin Weekly Refresh. 

NetRise pulled in $8M. Operating in the Extended Internet of Things space, NetRise serves enterprises and device manufacturers with tech that helps them comprehend the risks and vulnerabilities of their devices and their software supply chain. Its latest funding raise was led by Squadra Ventures. The capital will help NetRise further its goal of helping customers quickly find and fix security issues. [PR Newswire]

Arrive Logistics opened new offices. Although headquartered in the Lone Star State, multimodal transportation company Arrive Logistics picked out two new locales for its next stage of national expansion. The company announced the opening of its new offices in Phoenix and Columbus, Ohio. These are Arrive’s fourth and fifth offices, and both locations are hiring new talent to fill their collective 26,000 square feet of space. [PR Newswire]

Moov Technologies appointed a new CTO. Moving up the ranks at Moov is Nicholas Griffith. Having formerly served as the company’s head of technology, Griffith was promoted to the newly-created executive seat of chief technology officer. Since 2020, Griffith has helped grow Moov’s product and engineering teams as the company works to match ​​buyers and sellers to pre-owned semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
