Flo Recruit, a legal talent software company, has secured a Series A funding round led by LiveOak Ventures and Moneta Ventures. The specific amount of funding was not disclosed, but the investment will support Flo Recruit’s solutions in the legal recruitment space.
The company provides a specialized applicant tracking system for the legal industry, enabling law firms and law schools to manage and analyze candidate data more efficiently. It also provides pipeline building and career services solutions.
“Flo Recruit’s clients are seeking transparency as recruitment channels expand beyond traditional campus programs and reliance on agencies,” Katherine Allen, Flo Recruit co-founder and CEO, said in a statement. “Flo has a unique ability to solve this problem because we partner with all sides of the talent market. That brings powerful connections and data insight.”
The company plans to use the money to expand its career services solutions for law schools and talent solutions for law firm entry-level, lateral associate and partner hiring. This expansion aims to enhance market transparency and address the challenges posed by the earlier entry-level recruitment process, which has put significant pressure on law students, schools and firms to adapt to new timelines and practices.
