Own applied computer vision and machine learning development, translating business needs into scalable solutions. Build, fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy models for object detection, segmentation, classification, video analysis, forecasting, anomaly detection, regression, and clustering. Address real-world constraints involving lighting, sensors, cameras, data quality, and edge-device computing to ensure reliable production performance.

Supports AI/ML workflows involving large-scale image and video datasets. Responsibilities include curating datasets, managing annotation processes, running model training and evaluation jobs, maintaining benchmarks, documenting results, tracking performance, and analyzing model failure cases with senior engineers. The role provides hands-on experience with computer vision and a growth path toward applied modeling or MLOps.

Design and build scalable data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures. Implement Python ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestrate workflows with Airflow, ingest data from third-party APIs, optimize columnar storage and query performance, and consult stakeholders to translate business goals into data architecture roadmaps using Spark, Snowflake, and cloud infrastructure.
