Responsibilities include secure API design, distributed systems, microservices, cloud deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, containerization, and production support.

Develop and deploy production computer vision and machine learning solutions for object detection, segmentation, classification, video analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection. Responsibilities include selecting and fine-tuning models with PyTorch or TensorFlow, analyzing performance, translating business problems into scalable AI solutions, and accounting for real-world constraints involving cameras, sensors, lighting, and edge-device compute limitations.

Assess and modernize the architecture of an FDA-regulated SaaS product. Define a DDD and clean-architecture target state, address technical debt, design scalable integrations and data pipelines, establish modernization and refactoring roadmaps, and guide a mixed PHP, C++, and JavaScript engineering team. Improve CI/CD, testing, security, auditability, documentation, and delivery practices while mentoring engineers and maintaining backward compatibility.

Architect low-latency .NET APIs and backend services while building Angular interfaces for a financial services platform. Develop microservices and message-driven systems, maintain high test automation coverage, conduct code reviews, manage CI/CD and production observability, and define OpenAPI contracts. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver analytical tools supporting investment decisions.

Own BI product strategy for Quote-to-Cash and Order-to-Cash financial systems. Identify operational pain points, translate them into BI, AI, and machine learning opportunities, author PRDs and roadmaps, define functional requirements, and partner with finance, legal, product, delivery, and engineering teams. Ensure quoting, contracting, billing, revenue recognition, and commercial processes are accurately represented in downstream data products.

Strengthen application security and DevSecOps practices by deploying and tuning SAST, DAST, and IAST tools, conducting threat modeling, integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines, interpreting vulnerabilities, reducing scanner noise, and driving remediation. The role also develops security automation, establishes application security metrics, documents processes, and collaborates with engineering and business stakeholders across cloud-based software environments.

Supports large-scale AI workflows involving image and video dataset curation, annotation management, model training, evaluation, benchmarking, documentation, and failure-case analysis. The role collaborates with senior engineers to improve data and algorithms while developing foundational experience in applied modeling or MLOps.
