Systems Engineering Intern supporting autonomous defense systems through requirements definition, systems integration, verification planning, testing, engineering analysis, modeling, simulation, and margin or budget analysis. The role is an on-site summer internship in Austin, Texas, collaborating directly with mechanical, electrical, software, and controls engineers on Bullfrog counter-drone systems.

Lead simulation, prediction, and validation of structural performance in dynamic electromechanical defense systems. Perform linear and nonlinear FEA, transient dynamics, vibration, shock, fatigue, and structural analyses. Collaborate with designers, controls, and test engineers to improve product durability, manufacturability, cost, and performance. Correlate simulations with physical testing and produce rigorous technical reports.
