Chess.com Benefits Overview

Full-time remote engineering internship with Product Engineering and AI/ML Engineering tracks. Interns may build and optimize scalable product features, contribute to architecture and design decisions, develop data pipelines and machine learning models, deploy AI applications, and integrate LLM-powered capabilities into Chess.com products. Applicants should be enrolled students or equivalent bootcamp participants with strong communication, ownership, teamwork, and relevant programming, database, machine learning, or AI experience.

Lead Chess.com’s global live-events strategy and portfolio, including competitions, fan experiences, premieres, partner activations, and company gatherings. Own event planning, budgets, venues, vendors, production schedules, run-of-show integration, hospitality, measurement, and post-event improvement. Align creative, content, broadcast, competition, partnerships, finance, legal, and operations teams across a distributed organization. The role is a senior individual contributor with potential to build an events team.

Create illustrative 2D assets, vector artwork, environments, objects, characters, clothing, and storyboards for Chess.com’s products and branding. Help define a playful visual style while collaborating with product, animation, motion design, and engineering teams. Deliver assets autonomously, match established styles, manage deadlines, and contribute to game-focused interactive experiences.
