The Power Generation Mechanical Engineer 3 performs design engineering, provides technical guidance, and supports project management in the power generation sector.

Conduct power system studies (dynamic stability, power flow, contingency, transient voltage) using industry tools. Collect and manage data, develop equipment recommendations, prepare engineering deliverables, support clients and internal teams, contribute to proposals, and assist with project scope, scheduling, and contract administration.

The role involves leading design and integration of control systems for power generation, ensuring compliance with regulations, providing technical leadership, and supporting business development.

Lead a team delivering physical electrical substation design: select/specify equipment, produce layout and design drawings, prepare specifications and procurement recommendations, perform electrical calculations, estimate costs, mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients and manage projects to budget, schedule, and quality targets.

Lead and manage proposal efforts (RFPs, MSAs, SOQs) from kickoff through submission: analyze requirements, create compliance matrices and schedules, coordinate cross-functional teams, develop persuasive written content, maintain boilerplate and asset libraries, and ensure timely, compliant deliveries.

Lead and manage EPC projects, ensuring compliance and coordination among stakeholders. Supervise teams, manage budgets, conduct site visits, and implement quality control measures.

The Senior Electrical System Studies Engineer is responsible for applying engineering knowledge in design, conducting complex analyses, and ensuring compliance with quality programs while engaging with clients and supporting project management.
