The Senior Staff Process Development Engineer designs and implements manufacturing automation solutions for catheter production, focusing on error-proof processes and scalability.

Partner with the COO to own plant and business-unit P&L, drive inventory discipline, lead capital planning, oversee plant controllers, perform variance and ROI analyses, support SIOP/S&OP, and provide actionable financial recommendations to improve operational performance.

Lead and mentor engineering and technician teams to develop, validate, and transfer catheter manufacturing processes from prototype to high-volume production. Oversee process development, equipment and tooling design/qualification, DOE and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), documentation (MDF, work instructions), training, and budget/capital decisions to meet quality, yield, cost, and production targets.

Lead and manage medical device product development projects through the Stage Gate process. Scope, plan, track schedules, budgets, risks, and metrics; run cross-functional meetings; present project status to stakeholders; build customer relationships; and manage multiple projects with up to 20% travel.

Lead development and optimization of manufacturing processes for complex catheters, perform process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), conduct statistical studies (DOE, ANOVA, Ppk), design fixtures and semi-automated equipment, support NPI and cost-reduction projects, troubleshoot production, create work instructions and reports, mentor engineers, and participate in quality investigations (NCRs, CAPAs).

The Senior Staff Process Development Engineer oversees manufacturing line design, capacity analysis, and process validation while leading cross-site initiatives and mentoring junior engineers.
