Drives DFMEA, root-cause analysis, reliability improvements, and corrective actions while balancing performance, manufacturability, compliance, CAPEX, and OPEX. Design and ship real-time embedded firmware for grid-scale solid-state transformer systems using C/C++ across bare-metal and Zephyr RTOS platforms. Responsibilities include control-loop integration, hardware bring-up, driver development, validation through unit testing and HIL, manufacturing and field support, and collaboration with hardware and power electronics teams. Senior engineers own architecture, lead technical reviews, mentor engineers, and support hiring.

Lead Enphase’s power-density roadmap for storage and power systems. Develop loss budgets, analyze conduction, switching, magnetic, capacitive, and thermal losses, optimize converter topologies and semiconductor selection, and drive footprint reduction through mechanical and thermal integration. Own strategic and execution milestones, benchmark industry trends, enforce subsystem loss targets, and mentor engineers while delivering higher efficiency and more compact systems.

Leads engineering and New Product Introduction projects for Enphase’s IQ Solid-State Transformer platform from concept through production readiness. Responsibilities include integrated schedule management, procurement and supplier coordination, build planning, risk mitigation, cross-functional alignment, phase-gate reviews, executive reporting, and project process improvement. The role operates across engineering, manufacturing, quality, compliance, and operations to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and at required quality.

Designs, integrates, verifies, and tests commercial and industrial renewable energy systems involving solar, EV charging, and energy storage. Responsibilities include test automation, electrical and electronics system assembly, architecture definition, requirements documentation, systems modeling, simulation, reporting, and troubleshooting. The role also supports field data collection and repairs, requires occasional local and international travel, and involves working with test equipment and communication protocols.

Lead end-to-end compliance strategy and certification for novel medium-voltage solid-state transformers. Remains hands-on with system bring-up, schematic and firmware reviews, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional technical decisions. Requires deep expertise in firmware or electrical hardware, working knowledge of the other, and experience delivering energy products at scale.
