Seeking Systems Engineers with expertise in Linux administration and Big Data technologies like Trino, Kafka, and Elasticsearch. Responsible for maintaining large-scale distributed compute cluster and storage systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deploy robust data infrastructure solutions.
As a Senior Python Engineer at Hudson River Trading (HRT), you will be working on a small and highly productive team. HRT primarily uses Python and C++ for their development work. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge distributed compute environments, collaborate with researchers and engineers, and help streamline the trade cycle. Responsibilities include software development, improving job orchestration, building tooling and environments, deploying and monitoring systems, and supporting data ETL pipelines. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, deep Python experience, and knowledge of the Python ecosystem.
